sets out what the Magistrates' Court may do if a corporate accused fails to appear in answer to a summons for an indictable offence. The court may hear and determine the charge summarily in the absence of the corporate accused and without its consent if satisfied that the charge and return date have been brought to the notice of the corporate accused and that the charge is appropriate to be determined summarily. If the court determines a charge in this way and finds the corporate accused guilty, the court must give written notice to the corporate accused of any sentence imposed.
