Clause 194

creates a presumption that charges for sexual offences that are contained in the same indictment will be tried together. The presumption is not rebutted because evidence on one charge is inadmissible on another charge. Sexual offence is defined in clause 3 and extended in this clause to apply to an offence listed in clause 1 of Schedule 1 to the Sentencing Act 1991.
