requires a legal practitioner who has been briefed (or otherwise agreed to appear for an accused at a trial) to advise the court of his or her intention to appear for the accused at least 7 days before the trial. A legal practitioner may only withdraw from the case within 7 days of the trial with the leave of the court. The court can order that costs be paid personally by the legal practitioner if the court considers that the agreement to appear at trial was unreasonable or the withdrawal is unreasonable.
