provides that this Chapter does not affect certain powers of the DPP to file an indictment for an offence where the court orders the person to be discharged in relation to that offence. This Chapter also does not affect the power of the DPP to discontinue a proceeding or not to file an indictment within the time limits set out in clause 163 in relation to an offence in respect of which a person has been committed for trial.
