allows the court to proceed with the trial of a corporate accused in its absence. In addition, if applicable, the court may proceed to hear and determine a summary offence under Division 1 of Part 5.8 (regarding hearing of charges for related and unrelated summary offences) if it is satisfied that a notice under clause 148 or 173 has been served on the accused and the court considers it appropriate to do so.
