requires the DPP to file and serve a summary of the prosecution opening and a notice of pre-trial admissions at least 28 days before the trial is listed to commence. Pursuant to subclause (2), the summary of the prosecution opening must outline the manner in which the prosecution will put the case against the accused and the acts, facts, matters and circumstances being relied on to support a finding of guilt. Pursuant to subclause (3), the notice of pre-trial admissions must identify the statements of the witnesses whose evidence the DPP believes should be admitted as evidence without further proof, in particular in relation to a list of formal matters set out in the clause.
