Clause 384

repeals certain provisions concerning sentence indications in the Supreme Court and County Court. Clause 2 of this Bill provides that clause 384 comes into operation on 1 July 2010. The effect of this provision is that the sentence indication provisions in the County Court and the Supreme Court will sunset on 1 July 2010. This is the same date as the sentence indication provisions for the County Court and Supreme Court sunset under the Criminal Procedure Legislation Amendment Act 2008.
