21B Engaging in conduct to intimidate, menace or harass persons attending religious assembly
(1)A person must not, without lawful excuse, engage in conduct that the person intends will intimidate, menace or harass a person—Penalty: 15 penalty units or imprisonment for 3 months.
(a)arriving at a place to attend a meeting of persons assembled for religious worship; or
(b)attending such a meeting; or
(c)leaving such a place during or following such a meeting.
(2)In a proceeding for an offence against subsection
(1), it is not necessary for the prosecution to prove that a person was intimidated, menaced or harassed.
(3)A reference in subsection (1) to a person arriving at a place to attend a meeting referred to in that subsection includes a person arriving at that place before the meeting has commenced or before any other persons have assembled.
