Clause 372 Consequential amendments In the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997—

(a)in section 9(4), for "sections 353(3) and 359A of the Crimes Act 1958" substitute "sections 211 and 212 of the Criminal Procedure Act 2008";
(b)in section 14(7), for "section 353(5) or 359A(2) of the Crimes Act 1958" substitute "section 211 or 212 of the Criminal Procedure Act 2008";
(c)at the foot of section 18(2) insert— "Note Section 24AA provides for appeals against a verdict of not guilty because of mental impairment.";
