41N Objectives of Division

The objectives of this Division are—

S. 41N inserted by No. 55/2025 s. 82.

(a)to uphold public safety by creating offences relating to the display of symbols that can encourage persons to engage in violence or vilification; and

(b)to protect the rights of persons—

(i)to participate in society without fear of violence or vilification; and

(ii)to demonstrate their religion or belief; and

(iii)to enjoy their culture.
