4J Adjournment to seek legal advice
(1)The Specialist Family ViolenceCourt Division may, on its own initiative or on the application of a party to a proceeding, exercise its power under section 128 to adjourn proceedings to give one or more of the parties a reasonable opportunity to obtain legal advice.
(2)The Specialist Family ViolenceCourt Division may resume the proceedings if it is satisfied that the party or parties have had a reasonable opportunity to obtain legal advice whether or not that advice has been obtained.
