29 Effect of repeal etc. of amending subordinate instrument

(1)Where a subordinate instrument or a provision of a subordinate instrument, being a subordinate instrument or provision that directly amended another subordinate instrument or an Act (whether by the insertion of words or expressions in that subordinate instrument or Act or the substitution of other words or expressions for words or expressions in that subordinate instrument or Act)— the repeal, expiry, lapsing or ceasing to have effect of that subordinate instrument or provision shall not, unless the contrary intention expressly appears, affect in any way the direct amendments made in the other subordinate instrument or in the Act or the operation or effect of those amendments.
(a)is repealed; or
(b)expires, lapses or otherwise ceases to have effect—
(2)Subsection (1) applies to a direct amendment made to a provision of a subordinate instrument by another provision of that subordinate instrument in the same manner as it applies to a direct amendment made to a subordinate instrument by another subordinate instrument.
