70A Piracy with violence
Any person who with intent to commit or at the time of or immediately before or immediately after committing the offence of piracy in respect of any vessel— shall be liable to— as the court determines.

(a)assaults with intent to murder any person on board or belonging to the vessel; or

(b)wounds any such person; or

(c)unlawfully does any act by which the life of any such person may be endangered—
(d)level 3 imprisonment (20 years maximum); or
(e)imprisonment for such other term as is fixed by the court—
