421 Alternative verdicts on charge of murder

(1)On an indictment for murder a person found not guilty of murder may be found guilty of— but may not be found guilty of any other offence.

(a)manslaughter;
(ab)child homicide;

(ac)homicide by firearm;

(b)any offence of which he may be found guilty under an enactment specifically so providing;
(c)an offence against section 325; or
(d)an attempt to commit murder or an attempt to commit any offence of which he may by virtue of this subsection be found guilty—
